Teekay Shipping (TK) announces Q207 results; beats by $0.06

Dolby Laboratories Inc. (DLB)
rose $3.37, or 10 percent, to $36.85 in extended trading yesterday. The audio technology company said it expects to earn $1.07 to $1.11 a share in the current fiscal year. The average estimate from analysts was $1.02.

Getty Images Inc. (GYI) fell $3.59, or 8 percent, to $41.25 in extended trading. The largest supplier of pictures to advertisers said second-quarter profit excluding items was 57 cents a share. That's 2 cents short of the average analyst estimate.

GulfMark Offshore Inc. (GLF) gained $3, or 6.8 percent, to $47.22 in after-hours trading yesterday. The Houston-based company that provides marine services to the energy industry said second-quarter net income, excluding some items, was $1.27 a share. The average estimate of six analysts surveyed was $1.11 a share.

Walt Disney Co. (DIS) The second-largest U.S. media company said third-quarter profit rose 4.7 percent, fueled by higher advertising rates at the ABC television network and sales of merchandise from films. Sales increased 6.7 percent to $9.05 billion, beating the $9.01 billion average of 13 analysts' estimates. The stock rose 83 cents to $33.83 in regular trading.

Southern Copper Corp. (PCU) Workers at the world's fifth-largest copper producer halted production at three mines in Mexico for a third day yesterday to press for a new contract, Carmen Romero, a spokeswoman for the National Mining and Metal Workers' Union, said by phone. No talks are scheduled between the company and workers, Romero said in yesterday's interview. Shares fell $6.50, or 5.7 percent, to $108.
