Christopher & Banks Corp. (CBK) rose $1.03, or 10 percent, to $10.87 in extended trading. The owner of the C.J. Banks clothing stores forecast profit of as much as 27 cents a share in the first quarter. The average estimate from analysts in a Bloomberg survey was 25 cents.

Janus Capital Group Inc. (JNS): The Denver-based mutual- fund manager said it sold its unprofitable digital-printing unit to Bowne & Co. (BNE:US) for $14.5 million. The stock fell 84 cents to $25.09 in regular trading.

Rowan Cos. (RDC): The U.S. oil and gas driller that builds its own rigs said it's been approached by prospective buyers of the company's manufacturing unit. The stock rose 77 cents to $42.81 in regular trading.
