IndyMac Bancorp Inc. (IMB): The second-biggest independent U.S. mortgage company said it will reduce its workforce by 2,403 jobs, about one-quarter of its entire workforce. The stock dropped 27 cents to $4.49 in regular trading.

Intel Corp. (INTC) slumped $3.24, or 14 percent, to $19.45 in extended trading. The world's biggest chipmaker said first-quarter sales will be between $9.4 billion and $10 billion. Analysts surveyed by Bloomberg estimated sales of $10.1 billion.

Advanced Micro Devices Inc. (AMD), the second-largest chipmaker, slipped 48 cents, or 7.8 percent, to $5.64 in extended trading.

Invacare Corp. (IVC): The supplier of power wheelchairs and home health-care products said Chief Financial Officer Gregory Thompson has resigned and will leave the company for another position on March 1. The stock fell 63 cents to $22.94 in regular trading.

MetLife Inc. (MET): The largest U.S. life insurer announced its third $1 billion stock repurchase authorization in the past 12 months. The stock lost 24 cents to $59.86 in regular trading.

Syniverse Holdings Inc. (SVR) gained $1.43, or 11 percent, to $15 in extended trading. The provider of technology services to mobile-phone companies said sales this year will be $425 million to $440 million, beating the average estimate of $407.8 million among analysts surveyed.
