Stocks to Keep Your Eye On - 10/05/2007

McKesson Corp. (MCK): The biggest U.S. drug distributor agreed to buy Oncology Therapeutics Network for about $575 million including debt. The stock rose 72 cents to $59.30 yesterday.

Pall Corp. (PLL): The company, whose industrial filters are used by oil refiners and drugmakers, said in a statement citing preliminary results that sales for its fiscal fourth quarter were $646.3 million. That beat the average estimate of $614 million by analysts in a Bloomberg survey. Pall shares rose 37 cents, or 0.9 percent, to $40.80 in New York Stock Exchange composite trading.

Sealy Corp. (ZZ): The world's largest bedding manufacturer said third-quarter profit declined to 22 cents a share. That trailed the 32-cent average estimate from analysts in a Bloomberg survey. Sealy shares lost 5 cents, or 0.3 percent, to $14.72 yesterday.

Sprint Nextel Corp. (S) rose 42 cents, or 2.2 percent, to $19.70. The third-largest U.S. wireless carrier's board, which is seeking to replace Chief Executive Officer Gary Forsee, plans to name someone from outside the company by December, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing people familiar with the matter.

SRA International Inc. (SRX): The provider of computer services to the U.S. government said it won a contract from the Department of Justice valued at an estimated $59 million. SRA shares lost 40 cents, or 1.4 percent, to $28.06 yesterday.
