Citigroup Inc. (C) rose 25 cents to $29.81. The largest U.S. bank may sell four businesses with as much as $12 billion of assets, the Wall Street Journal reported.
SLM Corp. (SLM) rose 52 cents, or 2.7 percent, to $20.17.
