BHP Billiton Ltd.(BHP) , the world's biggest mining company, posted record annual production of copper, iron ore and nickel, fueling what will be its largest yearly profit.

Beazer Homes USA Inc. (BZH) fell 99 cents, or 5.3 percent, to $17.77 in extended trading. The homebuilder said the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has started a formal investigation to see if anyone at the company or an associated entity violated securities laws.
